Seri Kembangan, Serdang - OiGzone ~ One In Great

Seri Kembangan tertubuh sebagai Kampung Baru Serdang pada tahun 1952 apabila pihak British memindahkan penduduk kampung berketurunan Cina sekitar Sungai Besi ke satu lokasi tertumpu disebabkan ancaman Komunis semasa Darurat Tanah Melayu sebagai sebahagian daripada Rancangan Briggs.

Seri Kembangan, also known as Serdang, formerly known as Serdang New Village, is a town located in Petaling District, Selangor, Malaysia. It is located in between Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya.

Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang (MAEPS)

Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang (MAEPS) Agro Tourism Agriculture Showground Lifestyle Park (Attraction) MAEPS was established by the Ministry of Agriculture and Agro-based Industry to serve as a centre for agro-based events and activities.

As a major exhibition venue, it is an important centre for both international and local events and activities in Malaysia. MAEPS is also host to the successful of MAHA Showcase and continues to become THE place to promote Malaysia agriculture and food lifestyles.

The park resides on a 130 hectares of land belonging to the Malaysian Agricultural Research and Development Institute (MARDI). The Ministry of Agriculture and Agro-based Industry has successfully positioned the importance of the nation’s food sovereignty and safety, in line with its motto “Our Food Our Future” whereas agriculture remains the focal point of government’s efforts to promote it in communities throughout Malaysia. As one of the largest event venue and AgroTourism Park in the country, MAEPS has become a major enabler to the success of the agricultural initiatives in Malaysia.
